Tyoga is the premiere golf course in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Golf Digest has given this beautiful, scenic course four stars. Tyoga is located on Pine Creek Road, only two miles from the center of Historic Wellsboro. This course was designed by Edmund Ault, Ltd., and it uses the all-natural terrain to create some of the best views in the state. Tyoga is a serene, uncrowded course in the rolling Grand Canyon Country. It’s hard not to fall in love.

Our Team
Joe Haight – PGA Associate Professional, General Manager, Head Professional
Joe graduated from Williamson High School in 1989 and attended Mansfield University. In 1993, he moved to Naples, Florida, to pursue a career in golf, working in the industry until 1999. From 2000 to 2009, he worked as a Mortgage Broker in Sarasota, Florida, before transitioning to becoming a financial advisor at Edward Jones and other sales positions from 2009 to 2017.
Throughout their career, joe has worked at high-end private clubs, including the Stowe Mountain Club in Vermont, the Club at 3 Creek and Teton Pines in Jackson, Wyoming, and the Old Collier Golf Club, Golf Club of the Everglades in Naples, Florida, and the Stone Eagle in Palm Desert, California. He also had the opportunity to work with notable golf professionals such as Jim Mclean, Jon Mclean, and Dr. Jim Suttie, where they assisted with clinics at the Club at 3 Creek.
Outside of work, Joe has several hobbies, including golf, fly fishing, and tournament poker. He even won the Florida State Poker Championship Omaha Hi/Lo Limit Tournament in 2017.
Overall, Joe has had an extensive and diverse career path, working in various fields, including golf, finance, and sales. his passion for golf is evident through his work in the industry, and he has gained valuable experience working at high-end private clubs and with notable professionals.
Dean Andrews – Golf Course Superintendent
Dean Andrews is a highly skilled and experienced Golf Course Superintendent who has been working in the golf industry for over two decades. He currently serves as the Superintendent of Tyoga Golf Course, a beautiful 18-hole course located in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
Dean’s love for golf and the outdoors began at an early age, and he pursued his passion by studying turf management at Penn State University. After completing his studies, he began his career as an Assistant Superintendent at a prestigious golf course in Florida. He quickly rose through the ranks and was eventually promoted to the position of Golf Course Superintendent.
As the Superintendent of Tyoga Golf Course, Dean is responsible for ensuring that the course is maintained to the highest standards. He oversees a team of skilled maintenance workers, and is responsible for all aspects of course maintenance, including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and equipment maintenance. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence have helped make Tyoga Golf Course one of the most beautiful and well-maintained courses in the region.
In his free time, Dean enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and fishing. He is also an active member of several professional organizations in the golf industry, including the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
