Course Layout
Hole 1 | Par 4 | M-17 L-13
This opening par 4 can be very friendly with a tee shot down the middle, but don’t be fooled – the water, bunkers and trees can easily come into play.
Hole 2 | Par 4 | Handicap 3
Accuracy is the key to the challenging par 4 second hole. With a fairway sloping left and a large green protected by bunkers, a safe tee shot is critical.
Hole 3 | Par 4 | Handicap 5
We hope you enjoy this beautiful par 4 as much as we do! Good position off the tee is important as your approach shot takes you over the water to a green protected by bunkers on all sides.
Hole 4 | Par 5 | Handicap 1
This dog leg right par 5 offers bunkers, deep woods and severe side hill lies to test the golfer’s ability. But the real fun starts when you reach the green – beware of down hill putts!
Hole 5 | Par 3 | Handicap M-11 L-15
You will love this beautiful par 3. It’s short, but well guarded by bunkers on all sides, and the wind can be a factor. It’s wise to be happy with a par.
Hole 6 | Par 4 | Handicap M-12 L-11
Hole 7 | Par 4 | Handicap M-9 L-7
A straight tee shot is strongly advised on this challenging par 4. The fairway is surprisingly tight with dangerous trees on both sides. Pay attention to the wind or you’ll find yourself in one of the many bunkers.
Hole 8 | Par 3 | Handicap M-7 L-17
Arguably the most difficult hole on the course. This long par 3 is intimidating off the tee, and the green can be very difficult to read and very easy to 3 putt. Local golfers will tell you not to be ashamed walking off this troublemaker with a bogey.
Hole 9 | Par 4 | Handicap M-15 L-9
You must avoid a slice on this tough little par 4. Stay left off the tee, and prepare to hit an approach shot with the ball below your feet. The small green can be friendly, but pay attention to the pin spot for best success.
Hole 10 | Par 3 | Handicap 8
You’ll go home happy if you make par 3 on this very difficult hole. It’s straight up the hill with a long iron or hybrid. The bunkers are deep and the green is sloped and fast. Don’t be disappointed with a bogey.
Hole 11 | Par M-4 L-5 | Handicap M-5 L-4
This beautiful par 4 will test your complete game. You need a solid tee shot to set up a mid iron into a testy little green. The wind is often a factor, and an errant approach shot can easily find the woods. Enjoy the breathtaking views of beautiful Tioga County!
Hole 12 | Par 4 | Handicap 10
Hole 13 | Par 3 | Handicap M-16 L-18
At first glace, this short little par 3 appears easy to tame, but don’t be fooled – the wind is usually blowing, bunkers protect the front of the green, deep woods protect the back of the green, and you’ll be challenged to find an easy putt on this very entertaining hole.
Hole 14 | Par 5 | Handicap 14
This par 5 aims to please! If you can keep your tee shot out of Miller’s pond and the bunkers in the middle of the fairway, a straight second shot should position you for a short pitch into the pin. We wish you luck knocking down that birdie putt!
Hole 15 | Par 4 | Handicap 18
What you see is what you get on this beautiful par 4. Your tee shot is challenged by ponds on both sides of the tight fairway. You want to avoid the difficult bunkers on both sides of the green. And yes, pay attention to pin placement, as this green will test your ability to two putt.
Hole 16 | Par 4 | Handicap 12
Many golfers find this to be the most scenic hole on the course, and we agree! It’s a great look from the tee box, with out of bounds on the left and deep woods on the right. The front bunker is a ball magnet, so aim for the middle of the green. Enjoy!
Hole 17 | Par 5 | Handicap 2
Hole 18 | Par M-4 L-5 | Handicap M-4 L-6
Tyoga Country Club truly saves the best for last! This beautiful par 4 finishing hole is long and narrow. With out of bounds on both sides, and some of the most challenging stances you’ll find on a golf course, you are guaranteed a good time as you navigate to the two tiered green. But whatever you record on the score card, you walk away a winner!
